Three new patterns to release today.
The first is "The Owl and the Pussycat Playset".
This pattern is made from wool felt, cotton fabirc and recycled fabric.
It uses machine stitching, hand stitching, and basic embrodiery stitches.
I chose a remnant of brown velour fabric for the owl, but wool felt would work just as well.
I felted an old pure wool jumper to use for the pussycats body. My pattern explains how to felt woolen fabirc, but wool felt works for this pattern too.
Look at that tiny bee!
The pattern includes the poem "The Owl and the Pussycat" by Edward Lear, on which this playset is based.
The next pattern is called "Here Boy".
It is made from wool felt, and has the pattern for the dog, his bone, and his food bowl.
The felt colours can be chosen to represent your own dog.
The final pattern is called "Here Kitty". It is made from wool felt, and includes the pattern for the cat, the fish toy and the food bowl.
You may choose to customise your cat with a collar from a discount store.
PDF download patterns for these items can be purchased through my Etsy store here. Wholesale orders can be made through Creative Abundance, here.
Happy stitching,
