Todays Giveaway is for this pattern, affectionately known as "Robot George"
Last Christmas, my spunky nephew Noah loved anythying to do with robots. I decided I needed to make him a robot toy as a Christmas present, but when I had finished, I just couldn't decide what his name should be.
After thinking for a few days, I decided that Noah would know the perfect name for him.
In the lead up to Christmas, I wondered which name Noah would choose. I imagined things like "Buzz", "Sprocket", "Bolt", and "Rusty", but knew that Noah would have just the right name!
On Christmas Day, Noah opened his present, and immediately loved his robot toy. After a few big hugs, he asked "What's his name Aunty Fi?" I told Noah that it was his job to choose a name for his new toy.
He looked at the toy for a few minutes, and after careful consideration, Noah said "I know the perfect name for him - it's George." George?!! A lovely name no doubt, but not what I had imagined for a robot! And so, that is how Robot George came to be.
