Happy Easter to you! Fiona xxxx

My little family and I were so lucky to spend six days in Launceston last week – what a pretty place.
On the second day we ventured out to “Seahorse World”. It was amazing!
Mother Nature really got it right with the seahorse – it’s the males that pregnant, carry the babies, and go through delivery!
There was a very cheeky hermit crab that popped in and out of his shell
And these beautiful Jelly Blubbers
(the photos could have been much better, but we went allowed to use the flash, as it damages the animals).
Our motel was a short walk from City Park – what a beautiful place.
Plenty of beautiful big trees for climbing,
lovely reminders of autumn,
stunning dahlias in bloom,
and just when we thought we’d seen everything, tucked away in a corner of the park, were these little guys!
A nearby plaque told us that these Macaque monkeys were given to the city of Launceston by Japan in exchange for a group of wallabies.
If you haven’t visited Launceston, I recommend it – it’s a very pretty place.
